I like to finish off the year with activities related to akhlaaq (manners). For this activity the students reflected on being a Muslim and the possibility being able to look inside of themselves or others what would you find. On a large sheet of construction paper, the students drew their Muslim character. Then I gave them a sheet of four magnifying glasses and said, "If you had the ability to look inside of a Muslim what would you find? What would their ears hear, their eyes see, their hearts feel, or even what would you find in their tummy's." They got right to it :-) To print the magnifying glasses click here. |
